“Being a trainer myself, I chose
to train with Amy because I really felt there was a need in
the fitness industry for Amy's unique training style. Amy's FLEXXATION® has
opened my eyes to the concept of MINDFUL exercise in the weight
room. I have come to experience in my sessions with Amy, and
the sessions I have with my clients that it is not how many
you do, but HOW MINDFULLY you ARE doing it. The FLEXXATION® technique
has given me a pathway for my clients to experience a workout
that is not based on reps and movement, but rather being mindful
on flexing the muscles to be worked. Amy's FLEXXATION® has
taught me that if all of the energy is not focused on the intended
muscle, then other muscles will come into play that are not
supposed to be targeted. This can actually lead to injury and
misalignment. Now, when my clients come in to train, they are
focused on the QUALITY, of each rep, not the quantity. They
get a lot more out of their sessions with less workload, yet
are working more intensely.
The breath has played an integral part.
With traditional training, it is taught to "exhale on
exertion." By doing this, I was actually exhaling all
of my strength and energy out of my body and was unable to
perform to my potential. Also, when I didn't make the breath
a main focus, I would tend to "give up" quicker,
before achieving my goal of muscular fatigue. Now, when I stay
with the breathing pattern that is one of the foundations of FLEXXATION® ,
I am able to stay in the exercise and finish it to completion.
I a now for the first time capable of doing myself and teaching
to others how to truly achieve the goal of muscle isolation
to fatigue all because of the utilization of the principles
of FLEXXATION® .
In all of this, I now have learnt not
only during my workouts, but in my life as well, to CALM DOWN.
It is so important to live in a way that doesn't add stress,
but reduces it from our lives. Stress is unavoidable...it is
how well we are able to breath it out that matters.

done so much more for me than just totally transform my physique.
I thought that it would be impossible for me to get any results
after I hit menopause, but Amy's FLEXXATION®,
